We go, inspect it, and tell you exactly what it's worth and what needs fixing. As if we were buying it ourselves.

If you don't want the hassle, we handle everything. We find the bike, buy it, take it to the workshop, get it in perfect shape and deliver it ready to ride. We only work with vintage bikes: they look better, are harder to steal, and if the worst happens, the financial hit isn't so bad.
The bike you chose, without buying it
If you're in Madrid for a few months and don't want to invest in something you'll have to sell in a rush, we'll rent it to you. You choose the bike you want and if it works for us, we buy it and rent it to you monthly. When you leave, you return it. Simple.

If you decide to go ahead, we restore it in our workshop and deliver it ready. Or if you prefer rental, we sign the monthly contract and that's it.

⚠ The restoration price includes the bike purchase (between €40 and €120 depending on the model) plus workshop labor. We always confirm the total budget before proceeding.
We have no incentive to sell you a bad bike. Our business depends on you being happy and recommending us. That's why we're brutally honest in every inspection.
We only work with vintage, utilitarian-looking bikes. They work perfectly, but don't attract thieves. If it gets stolen on a Thursday night, the financial hit is manageable.

We work exclusively with vintage steel city bikes from the 70s, 80s and 90s. They're sturdy, repairable and have a look that doesn't attract thieves. No carbon, no premium brands. The goal is for the bike to work well and, if it gets stolen, it's not a catastrophe.
It depends on the bike. If you've already found one, we do the inspection within 24-48 hours. If you want us to find it, we usually take 3 to 7 days to find something suitable. Workshop restoration takes another 2 to 5 days depending on the condition.
You need to let us know and file a police report. Depending on the contract, there's an excess (a maximum amount you cover). That's why we work with low-cost bikes: we want that excess to be manageable. It's not insurance, but it's a reasonable safety net.
For now we only operate in central Madrid and surroundings (up to about 20 km from the center). Inspections are done wherever the bike is. Deliveries are made to your door within that radius.
Yes. If you've been with the bike for a while and grown attached, we can talk about a sale. The price is calculated by deducting part of what you've already paid in rent. Let us know and we'll work it out.
We'll tell you straight. If we think the price isn't fair or the bike has serious problems, we explain it in the report. We can also tell you what price we would buy it at, or if there's a better option on the market at that moment.
Not for now. Electric bikes have a technical complexity and repair cost that don't fit our model. We focus on classic mechanical bikes, which are simpler to maintain and cheaper to repair.
